Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for teen and adult surgical populations in an outpatient operating room setting
• Provide quality nursing care across orthopedic, urologic, plastics, and general surgical cases
• Navigate multiple computer systems including EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Function effectively in a fast-paced OR environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented surgical environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3+ years of OR nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery procedures
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Flu vaccination required (November 1 – April 1); exemptions must be approved prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient surgery center setting
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Comfort managing a high variety of surgical case types within a single shift
