Urgent Care Physician OpportunityLocation: Joplin, MOEmployment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, permanent positionSetting: Outpatient, Urgent Care (Free-Standing Clinics) Position OverviewJoin a high-volume urgent care network within a community-based health system. This role offers a flexible, shift-based schedule with strong clinical support and the ability to treat a wide variety of acute conditions in a fast-paced environment. Position Highlights Open to Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds physicians (BC/BE) Two busy, free-standing urgent care clinics 50,000 annual visits across sites Treat walk-in patients with minor injuries and acute illnesses Convenient "Save My Spot" patient scheduling system Flexible employment options: FT, PT, or PRN Practice Environment Clinic hours: Monday-Friday: 8 AM - 8 PM Weekends: 10 AM - 6 PM Approximately 14 shifts/month for full-time providers Clinics located within short driving distance of each other EMR transitioning to Epic Clinical Support Experienced support staff including: Registered Nurses Nurse Techs Radiology Techs On-site diagnostics: X-ray CLIA-waived labs Same-day send-out labs Compensation & Benefits Updated, competitive shift-based compensation model Flexible scheduling with strong work-life balance Comprehensive benefits package including: Paid relocation assistance CME allowance Malpractice with tail coverage Retirement plans On-site childcare/learning center available Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified / Board Eligible in: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds Eligible for Missouri medical licensure Community Highlights Located in the scenic Ozarks with abundant outdoor recreation Affordable cost of living with short commute times Access to lakes, hiking, and outdoor activities Family-friendly community with strong school options Growing regional hub for healthcare and education Ideal Candidate Thrives in a fast-paced urgent care environment Values flexible scheduling and work-life balance Enjoys treating a broad range of acute conditions Team-oriented and comfortable collaborating with support staff
