Create Pastry Perfection: Assist in crafting La Madeleine's signature pastries and baked goods with precision and consistency. Maintain Quality & Freshness: Inspect ingredients and finished items to ensure every dish meets our high standards. Follow Recipes & Standards: Adhere to portioning, presentation, and storage guidelines to guarantee consistency. Keep It Clean & Organized: Maintain a tidy prep and pastry area, properly sanitize tools, and follow all safety procedures. Support the Team: Collaborate with fellow associates to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food preparation. What You'll Bring A passion for food, baking, and craftsmanship Basic knife skills and comfort following recipes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift Prior kitchen or bakery experience is a plus, but not required This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment and may involve exposure to hot equipment, kitchen hazards, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
