Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Indiana
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends. Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Job Description: Join a state-of-the-art, 44-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Our rehabilitation programs offer ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy interventions for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2+ years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred, particularly in an IRF setting.
