Details Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital Patient population includes pediatric critical care cases with exposure to CICU (CVPICU) Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:00 or 19:00-7:00 Float required to CICU (CVPICU) and potentially to Liberty campus as needed Every other weekend (EOW) required Blocked weekend-only scheduling (FRI-SUN) may be accommodated if willing to work all weekends Epic charting system preferred Requirements Active RN license (Single State OH or Multi-State Compact) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years PICU experience required, including exposure to CICU Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration Must be fully vaccinated with no exceptions Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients, including high-acuity cases Minimum of 2 holidays coverage required RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total First-time travelers welcome to apply, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible for contract positions for 1 year from their term date Travelers within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and local rates apply Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day, which could impact employment American Traveler Job ID P-748567.
