Accounts Receivable Responsibilities * Receipt and process cash, checks, credit card payments, and bank transactions accurately * Complete journal entries and maintain accurate financial records * Maintain and monitor AR aging schedules and follow up on past-due accounts * Prepare and send monthly statements to customers, fleet accounts, and wholesale accounts * Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer balance issues * Apply account adjustments, write-offs, and refunds in accordance with dealership policies * Reconcile account balances and ensure accuracy of receivable records * Assist with month-end closing and accounting support functions as needed Administrative & Team Support * Work closely with accounting, sales, service, and management teams * Maintain organized financial records and documentation * Assist with audits and reporting requests as needed * Support dealership accounting operations with additional administrative tasks What You Bring * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Professional and dependable work ethic * Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Requirements: * 1+ year of automotive accounting experience required * Knowledge of CDK required * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required * BA in Accounting preferred * Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy with financial information Why Krause Auto Group? * Over 30 years of automotive success * Family-owned and operated organization * Promote-from-within culture with real career advancement opportunities * Leadership team focused on employee development and long-term success * Opportunity to grow within a respected multi-brand automotive group Perfect For Candidates With Backgrounds In: * Automotive dealership accounting * Accounts receivable or bookkeeping * Office administration * Financial recordkeeping * Customer account management * Administrative support roles Build Your Career with Krause Auto Group This is more than just an accounting position—it’s an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization that values its employees and invests in long-term success.
