What We Are Looking For: Crescent Counseling Center is seeking an independently licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with prior private practice or outpatient experience to join our growing clinical team. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys the autonomy of private practice while also valuing administrative support, clinical consultation, professional development, and connection to a collaborative team. Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy to assigned clients Complete assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes Maintain an active clinical caseload and meet the required minimum number of client sessions each month Assess and respond appropriately to clinical risk and safety concerns Coordinate care with other providers when appropriate Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Participate in consultation, training, and quality-improvement activities Practice within professional scope, competency, and ethical standards Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field Active, unrestricted Virginia LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license Previous private practice or outpatient behavioral health experience Experience independently managing a psychotherapy caseload Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA, informed consent, mandatory reporting, and professional ethics Experience with insurance-based outpatient practice, medical necessity, and payer documentation requirements is preferred. Salary: $62,000–$90,000 per year (W-2) Salary placement is based on relevant experience, years of independent licensure, clinical expertise, position responsibilities, billed sessions, and internal equity.
