Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Position Overview The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical teams, following established nursing models and standards of practice. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, promptly reporting changes. Perform procedures, monitor responses, administer medications, and document care accurately. Respond quickly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of RN experience; hospital experience preferred. Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred. Active RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; BLS certification required. National certification in specialty areas is advantageous.
