Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Brighton, CO, 80601. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction and maintenance projects. If you have a passion for working with heavy equipment and enjoy being part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, and excavation tasks as required.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on the job site.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
