CAS Senior Associate - Designer Client Focus

abip CPAs and Advisors is seeking a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Senior Associate to support our growing portfolio of designer and creative industry clients . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and brings a strong foundation in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and process improvement . The ideal candidate is a hard-working, quick learner with a client-first mindset , capable of managing multiple engagements while delivering high-quality, timely financial insights. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of designer and creative clients Perform full-cycle bookkeeping , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy and integrity Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication and support Assist clients with cash flow tracking, budgeting, and operational insights Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation Collaborate with internal teams to support tax and advisory functions Ensure compliance with firm standards and accounting best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of accounting experience , preferably within a public accounting environment (mid-sized or Big 4 firm highly preferred) Strong bookkeeping and general ledger experience required Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) Experience working with multiple clients or entities simultaneously Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of client service orientation Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment Preferred Experience Experience supporting creative, design, or project-based businesses Exposure to cloud-based accounting tools and integrations Familiarity with financial dashboards and reporting tools What We’re Looking For A self-starter who takes ownership and initiative A quick study who can learn new systems and client environments efficiently A team player who collaborates well internally and externally A professional who values accuracy, responsiveness, and exceptional client service Why Join abip Collaborative, growth-oriented culture Direct exposure to entrepreneurial and creative clients Opportunity to develop into senior leadership within CAS #J-18808-Ljbffr Abipcpa
