Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Wilmer, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
