Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs weekdays from 8am–4pm, with the assignment extending through June 2027. You’ll make a difference across four schools, providing individualized instruction and support for a caseload of 30-40 elementary students.

Bring your expertise to a collaborative environment where you’ll conduct evaluations, create effective learning plans, and foster a positive classroom experience for students with diverse needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current NJ Teaching Certification (Special Education)
• Experience supporting elementary-aged children with special needs
• Strong ability to develop and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Confidence in conducting assessments and progress evaluations
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging instruction to groups and individuals within multiple schools
• Developing, implementing, and updating IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Conducting ongoing student evaluations and maintaining thorough records
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and administrators to maximize student success
• Creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• Communicating progress and challenges to parents and educational teams
