Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 20 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CLIENT OFFER - Locals accepted at same rate Required skills Assessment, Cardiopulmonary/Circulatory, Documentation, Equipment and Devices (Gait belt, Rolling Walker, Sit to stand lift, Sliding boards, Soft/Hard collars, Standard Walker, Supplemental Oxygen, Upper extremity prosthetics, Wheelchair Assessment), Ortho, Neuro, Home Exercise Program, Medications, Patient family education, Signs & Symptoms physical, sexual, psychological abuse, Safety and injury prevention, Billing Must have home health experience; OASIS training preferred Certs required: BLS, state licensed Scrubs: Any solid color scrub Unit Info: Patients: med/surg, cardiac, ortho, hips/knees/shoulders, post-surgical, copd, chf, pneumonia, CVA, Falls, weakness, parkinson's, failure to thrive, resp patients, neuro, trachs, trauma, AKA, BKA, ADL'S Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Commercial ins.), Home skilled visits - 6-8 per day (MINIMUM of 6 points per day at managers discretion may increase by 1 point), 1-2 Weekends per contract, Laptop, MiFi for internet access, Portable printers, BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet documentation system Other requirements: 1 year experience required, Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits, Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file, Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work Qualifications & Experience 1 year experience required Home health experience OASIS training preferred State license (FL) or compact license Benefits Weekly pay Medical benefits Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
