About the Role Onward Search is a national staffing company that has successfully provided specialized talent for over 17 years. Our Education Staffing division specializes in placing special education teachers, school psychologists, speech language pathologists, behavioral health professionals, occupational therapists, nurses, and other essential roles in K-12 schools. Job Description We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Recruiter to source, recruit, and place candidates in contract positions at schools we support. The ideal candidate will build a talent pipeline, qualify candidates, and manage interview and offer negotiation processes. Responsibilities Utilize our database, job boards, and various internet sites to identify and attract qualified candidates. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building. Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for specific roles. Discuss and negotiate pay rates and compensation packages with candidates, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and client needs. Provide ongoing support to candidates after placement, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with online recruiting tools and strategies to effectively source and engage potential candidates. Requirements Previous experience in the staffing industry; education industry experience is a plus. Strong understanding of the recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and placement. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on phone outreach and relationship management. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, KPI-driven environment. Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple candidates and placements simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.
