Responsibilities Perform general mechanic repairs and replacements, furnaces, split systems, water heaters, and other maintenance tasks. Complete general labor tasks and other duties as assigned. Handle designated work orders and service requests in a timely manner. Assist maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop. Know when to elevate maintenance issues to management. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, prospective residents, coworkers, and vendors. Perform general cleaning and snow removal. Work on‑call, overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening hours as required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3+ years maintenance experience; apartment maintenance experience preferred. Display proficiency performing day‑to‑day tasks, preventive maintenance, and work orders. Team‑oriented, dependable, resourceful, flexible, and results‑driven. Well‑organized with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications HVAC experience; certification preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently lifts and carries up to 45 pounds; occasionally up to 80 pounds. Pushes and/or pulls appliances using an appliance dolly up to 200 pounds. Moves objects from one floor to another. Frequently bends/stoops, climbs stairs, kneels, balances, reaches above shoulder height, walks, and twists. Normal range of vision, hearing, and speech required. Benefits Competitive hourly pay.
