Full-Time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm No Weekends

Summary This position is accountable for the day-to-day operations of running practice site(s), which includes planning, staff management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. Assists the practice and faculty in providing the best possible care of patient needs; to work directly with the nursing and administrative staff, offering leadership, guidance, and assistance. Coaches, mentors, and develops competent staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Duties:

Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of running practice.

• Manages and monitors the work of assigned team of clinical and administrative staff, offering guidance in the effective management of time, organization of tasks, and interdepartmental issues; gives guidance as needed to control overtime hours.
• Offers assistance to team members with questions relating to daily operations, identify training needs, documentation, etc.
• Staffs specified team; assists with coverage for vacation, time off, sick days, etc.

Oversees the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.

• Oversees all areas of training for new staff as well as continuation of training for existing staff.
• Completes performance evaluations for designated staff.

Manages internal and external communications.

• Ensures the smooth operations of all areas by keeping lines of communication open with all direct associates, physicians, other site managers, and the management team.
• Actively resolves complaints and issues as they arise.

Participates in departmental performance improvement and patient safety improvement activities.

• Creates a culture of safety to anticipate, identify and acknowledge risks and errors and promote error reporting as part of the provision of care and safety of the patient.
• Audits clinical practices to ensure high-quality care.

Work Experience

• One to three years of similar or related experience.

Certification/License

• Current LPN or RN Florida State License.
• Annual CPR, OSHA, HIPPA training/certifications.
• Other certifications as required.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of medial issues and terminology
• Knowledge of the best practices for running a clinic
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating routine illnesses.
• Knowledge of drug therapy benefits and side effects.
• Understanding of clinic policies, safety precautions, infection control, and established medical procedures
