This position involves helping individuals explore available products and services, answering general questions, and ensuring customers have the information and resources they need. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable interacting with a variety of people throughout the day. The Customer Assistant will work alongside team members to maintain a welcoming environment, provide helpful product guidance, and support the smooth completion of everyday customer activities. Primary Responsibilities Welcome customers and offer assistance based on their individual needs. Help customers locate products, services, and relevant information. Provide general guidance regarding available selections and product features. Assist individuals with understanding differences between available options. Answer questions about product availability, specifications, and general procedures. Help customers identify appropriate resources and informational materials. Explain product features and practical uses when requested. Assist customers with navigating available selections and making informed decisions. Maintain familiarity with current products, services, and company information. Provide assistance during product introductions and customer-facing activities. Organize and distribute approved informational materials. Help maintain clean, orderly, and accessible customer areas. Assist with arranging product information and presentation materials. Ensure customer resources are properly organized and readily available. Direct customers to appropriate team members when additional assistance is needed. Support daily customer activities during periods of increased traffic. Communicate frequently asked questions and customer preferences to colleagues. Assist with routine customer forms and basic documentation when applicable. Follow established company procedures for customer assistance and information handling. Complete additional customer support and operational responsibilities as assigned. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in customer assistance, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment preferred but not required. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate guidance. Strong listening skills and attention to detail. Comfortable explaining basic product and service information. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an active environment. Strong organizational skills and dependable work habits. Willingness to learn new products, services, and company procedures. Ability to follow instructions and established workplace guidelines. Comfortable working independently and collaborating with team members. Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard workplace applications.
