SUMMARY: Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. Works within the quality control program to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned

• Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
• Works with vendors to insure quality of all purchased parts for company use
• Monitors and communicates aspects of inspection criteria and procedures to production.
• Reviews inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Conducts audits on production processes and procedures
• Daily Quality Walk-Thru to monitor efficiency and consistency of QMS Procedures
• Enforce statutory and regulatory requirements along with all applicable standards.
• Investigates customer complaints RCCA when a CAR/SCAR has been initiated.
• Maintain positive teamwork and morale within the department.
• Represent Techniform professionally with all vendors, customers, subordinates, co-workers and superiors.
• Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
• Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
• Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
