Emergency Veterinarian – Midland, TX
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join a team of passionate, focused doctors. Our client is a high-end, fast paced general practice with four practicing doctors and a dedicated support team. They are committed to providing the best veterinary medicine and surgery while emphasizing compassionate care for pets and personalized service for pet owners in Midland, Texas. Their state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide range of services utilizing a surgical laser to help decrease pain and inflammation as well as a therapy laser. The facility is fully equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasonic dentalaire machine, in-house and outside IDEXX lab services, anesthetic monitors, IV pumps, patient warming units, and a fluid warmer.
This position requires a confident and dependable veterinarian who possesses competent surgical and medical skills while emphasizing preventative medicine. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work well within a supportive team environment and have strong follow through and execution skills. The hospital continues to build a team-oriented culture where they are aligned and work towards goals together.

There are no on-call emergency duties and three weeks of accrued vacation per year
Midland/Odessa has a growing population of greater than 250,000 with minor league baseball, soccer, football, and hockey teams for year-round sports enthusiasts. The cities are a gateway to the Big Bend area with wonderful outdoor activities and are close enough to New Mexico for winter skiing. The University of Texas of the Permian Basin is in Odessa, and each city has a community college.
