What You’ll Be Doing

Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations

Provide daily leadership to employees and foster a store culture built on respect, honesty, and teamwork

Lead by example on the sales counter — assisting customers, answering phones, and helping find the right parts

Build and develop customer relationships with local repair shops, businesses, and DIY enthusiasts

Oversee inventory management — placing and filling orders accurately and on time

Keep the sales floor organized, fully stocked, and maintained to safety and cleanliness standards

Coach, train, and engage your team to consistently deliver high-quality customer service

Handle cash, process transactions, and ensure the store runs efficiently

Drive store sales growth and contribute to profitability goals

Troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to keep things running smoothly

Look for new and unique ways to help the store reach its goals

What You’ll Need

Proven leadership experience in a retail or automotive setting (NAPA experience is a big plus)

A desire to lead with vision, collaboration, trust, and effectiveness

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to inspire a team

Passion for customer service and building long-term relationships in your community

Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and catalog systems (or willingness to learn)

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school coursework is a plus

Valid driver’s license

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus at some locations

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on role. Candidates must be able to:

Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs

Stand, walk, reach, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift

Perform repetitive tasks with precision and a positive attitude
