Senior Lead Software Engineer - Medical Technology

L3Harris Technologies is seeking self-starting, team-oriented Full-Stack Application Software Engineers to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This team is at the forefront of satellite command and control systems, leveraging web technologies, distributed computing, sophisticated cloud technologies, frameworks, and cutting-edge capabilities. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in developing and integrating mission-unique software with both existing and emerging technologies, using industry best practices. Perform software development and integration using industry best practices, including Agile methodologies, for government systems. Mission Application Support: Provide development support for mission applications and frameworks. Modern Practices: Participate in a development team employing modern DevOps practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience. Active Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills: Proven expertise in Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies. Proficiency in Java, Python, and C# software development life cycles. Comprehensive understanding of software testing and quality assurance. Experience leading a development team using Scrum methodology. Experience in integrating, testing, and deploying software applications to operations. Strong background in data management. Expertise in configuration management and version control. Experience with with Space OpsC2 (Operations Command and Control) systems and procedures. Experience working with a diverse, multi-site, multi-company team.
