About the Position

Job Title: RN Pediatrics Profession: RN Pediatrics Specialty: RN Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Cerner Charting system preferred Description: Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during, and after procedure. Directly assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. Unit description: Trauma level 3 Pediatric Hospital with 3 operating rooms, 2 Endoscopy/Procedure Rooms, 14 Pre-Op/Recovery beds, and 13 PACU beds. Anesthesia is available 24/7 for support. Scrubs are provided. Holiday requirements are shared.
