As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity. Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to policy. Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and client requirements. Minimum Requirements Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
