This opportunity is in Roy, UT. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:The Sr. Staff Systems Engineer will join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration).Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 14 years of experience; or Master's degree with 12 years of experience; or PhD with 9 years of experienceMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business need.8 years of experience implementing and using model-based systems engineering tools, practices, and methods.5 years of experience demonstrating strong program execution skills; demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones.5 years of experience exhibiting strong partnership/collaboration skills. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.#SentinelSystemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $166,500.00 - $249,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
