About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation products, engineering solutions, and technical services, supporting customers across manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, energy, and other industrial markets.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support outside sales representatives by managing customer accounts, generating quotes, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support outside sales representatives within an assigned territory.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and order status.
- Prepare and follow up on customer quotes.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication.
- Follow up on inbound leads and identify new sales opportunities.
- Qualify opportunities and coordinate with outside sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with customer service, purchasing, warehouse, and fulfillment teams.
- Meet sales goals and support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Previous inside sales, customer service, or account support experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Experience in distribution, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- P21 experience is a plus.
Compensation: $23-26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
