Pay $22~$26 per hour Salary Details - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Experience: Proven experience in surgical dental assisting (Periodontics or Oral Surgery specialty experience preferred). Clinical Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry, dental sterilization procedures, and autoclaving. Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical record management. Imaging: Experience operating medical imaging equipment and managing digital patient records. Personal Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, a calm demeanor under pressure, and consistent punctuality. Job Description Surgical Assistance: Provide expert chairside assistance during complex procedures, including dental extractions, implant placements, and periodontal surgeries. Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient vital signs and ensure maximum patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process. Clinical Preparation: Prepare dental treatment areas by autoclaving instruments and strictly adhering to disinfection and sterilization procedures. Diagnostics & Imaging: Operate medical imaging equipment to capture and process high-quality diagnostic X-rays. Post-Operative Care: Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and answer procedure-related questions with clarity and compassion. Documentation & Coding: Maintain accurate patient charting and medical records within our EMR system, ensuring full HIPAA compliance and correct medical coding. Laboratory Tasks: Perform clinical tasks such as taking dental impressions and preparing surgical materials. Infection Control: Maintain rigorous healthcare infection prevention protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
