Charge Nurse

Avir Trilogy is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team!

We're looking for a Charge Nurse who can run a shift and still be present for the residents on it. You'll direct daily nursing operations on your unit, supervise the care team, and make the calls that keep the shift moving and the residents safe.

The other half of the job is the people working for you. Charge nurses set the standard, coach in the moment, and decide what gets escalated and when. Done well, it's the role that holds a building together.

What You'll Do:

• Direct nursing operations on your assigned unit and supervise nursing assistants and care staff throughout the shift.

• Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and carry out resident care plans in line with regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to staffing, scheduling, and resource decisions that affect care delivery.

• Maintain clear communication with staff, residents, families, and physicians, particularly around transitions in care.

• Identify quality improvement opportunities and help implement changes that improve resident outcomes.

• Mentor and coach staff, supporting professional growth and a culture of respect and teamwork.

Qualifications for Charge Nurse:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas. (Confirm whether LVN is also accepted)

• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm under pressure.

• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
