Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Central Coast Psychotherapy Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, both virtually and, when required, in person.
  • Assessing clients’ mental health and emotional needs, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
  • Addressing a variety of issues including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, communication difficulties, grief and loss, and conflicts among family members.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution among clients.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress in accordance with clinical and organizational standards.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within an integrated team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults. You will have the opportunity to provide care to families navigating complex dynamics, including blended family issues, separation, and divorce. Your expertise will support clients seeking to improve their relationships and cope with life changes and emotional challenges.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must hold the following qualifications:

  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Commitment to providing empathetic, high-quality care to clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • A proven track record of clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.
  • Flexibility in scheduling availability to accommodate different client needs, aiming for a workload exceeding 30 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your qualifications and experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
