Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 1 year of recent acute care PCU experience and a Colorado or compact RN license. Requirements Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification Cardiac experience preferred Prior Meditech experience preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Responsibilities Work in a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit within a hospital setting Care for a variety of patients including post-op ortho, spine, and GYN surgical patients Support elective cath lab patients post-PCI, post-pacemaker, ablation, cardioversion, and revascularization Manage stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure patients Patient ratio of 5:1 Uses tele monitoring and post-op monitoring equipment Set rate cardiac drips used (non-titrating except heparin) EMR system is Meditech / CPN Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Provide post-op recovery care for surgical and cath lab patients Join a brand-new, state-of-the-art unit featuring ADA/Bari rooms with in-room Hoyer lifts Work within a friendly, outgoing, and teamwork-oriented unit culture Team includes a mix of experienced and diverse nursing staff Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diim and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-741444 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
