About the Role: The Planner role is pivotal in orchestrating and optimizing manufacturing projects within the power generation sector, ensuring alignment with environmental and industrial standards. This position requires the development and management of comprehensive master plans that integrate project timelines, resource allocation, and supply chain logistics to meet production goals efficiently. The Planner will assess environmental impacts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle. By leveraging expertise in industrial engineering and supply chain management, the Planner ensures that purchase orders and material deliveries are synchronized with project demands, minimizing delays and cost overruns. Ultimately, this role drives the successful execution of manufacturing initiatives that support organizational growth and compliance within the United States manufacturing industry. Minimum Qualifications:
Skills: The required skills are applied daily to create and refine master plans that guide manufacturing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with environmental and industrial standards. Environmental impact knowledge is critical for integrating sustainable practices and regulatory compliance into project plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite enables efficient data analysis, scheduling, and communication of project status to stakeholders. Supply chain management and purchase order expertise ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, preventing production bottlenecks. Strong oral and written communication skills facilitate clear collaboration across departments and with external partners, supporting seamless project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project planning within the manufacturing or power generation industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint for planning and reporting purposes.
- Strong understanding of environmental impact considerations in industrial projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience with advanced project management software and tools beyond Microsoft Suite.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CSCP).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing environmental compliance in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex industrial projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed master plans for manufacturing projects, incorporating timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Evaluate environmental impact assessments and integrate mitigation strategies into project planning to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams to manage purchase orders and material flow effectively.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans proactively to address potential risks or delays in power generation manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and deliver clear oral and written communications to stakeholders, providing updates, reports, and recommendations.
