We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.As a Senior Accountant at RXO, you'll use your knowledge and experience to perform and coordinate accounting responsibilities within our organization.What your day-to-day will look like:Ensure accurate, complete and timely compilation and recording of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and proceduresSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closes for functional areas of responsibility, including related SOX compliance and external financial statement auditAccurately maintain general ledger accounts and respective reconciliations, including researching, understanding and interpreting accounts and underlying activity, trends and variances across a broad scope of accounting functional areas (e.g., revenue recognition, margin analysis, prepaids, accruals, subledgers, intercompany reconciliations and foreign exchange)Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with company policiesComplete and/or oversee the monthly reconciliation of trade and non-trade intercompany accounts; coordinate with respective teams to resolve outstanding variances/issuesSupport the preparation and distribution of monthly accounting, financial and management reporting as well as ad hoc analysesAt a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience2 years of accounting experienceAbility to understand and research large volumes of data from multiple sourcesIt'd be great if you also have:Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or BusinessPublic accounting experience and/or CPA certificationExperience with related systems such as Oracle, HFM and BlacklineExperience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and perform lookupsWhy Join Us:Our BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company matchPre-tax accounts to help streamline eligible expensesCompany-paid disability and life insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Career and Leadership Development ProgramsPaid time off, company holidays, and volunteer daysOur CultureOur values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.We do great things when we are inclusive and work together.
