Intensive Home-Based Therapy serves individuals with complex behavioral health and multi-system needs within a holistic wraparound model of integrated healthcare. Intensive Home-Based Therapist Job Duties: Provide individual and family counseling, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention and consultation to children, youth, and their families. These services are provided in the home, school and natural environment of the child and family. IHBT services support a resiliency, strengths-based approach emphasizing parent and professional partnerships. The therapist will receive training specifically related to treating children and families within a structured IHBT format and works as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently. Knowledge of risk issues and verbal de-escalation abilities, as well as consultation options.
