Northwood Club is a prestigious country club established in 1946, we are best known for hosting the 1952 Golf U.S. Open. Our beautifully renovated PGA Championship Golf Course was named #1 Best Golf Course Renovation in Avid Golfer Magazine for 2019. Rated overall best country club in Avid Golfer from 2022 - 2024. Among other awards the club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. We are currently looking for a full-time security officer to provide and maintain security and safety of people and property of Northwood Club at all times with the ability to enforce Club rules, policies and regulations. You must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to complete or have CPR & First Aid Certification. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Essential Duties:

• Visual to everyone entering and exiting club property.
• Verify all incoming traffic, alerting staff of deliveries, guests for dinner, and directing guest and vendors where to park.
• Properly authenticating members and employees who enter onto property. Documenting guests in the guest log.
• Patrols property checking for suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
• Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to clubhouse manager or general manger for correction of follow-up actions.
• Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce club rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions.
• Assists any persons on property needing directions or club information.
• Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
• Knows club's emergency response manual, security's role and procedures for all emergency situations as documented.
• Submit daily incident report at end of each shift.
• Patrol property with use of golf cart and ensure all facilities are secure.
• Patrol and secure off site parking lot as needed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as trained.
• Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart
• Comply and knows all safety policies of the Club as well as federal laws pertaining to OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Attends staff meetings when required

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, reach, or lift 20-30 lbs.
• Ability to operate computers or computerized equipment.
• Positon requires you to work extended hours outside where you will exposed to various weather conditions.
• Position requires you to conform to a specifice appearance and dress code. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
