Remote Inpatient Care Management Medical Director

UnitedHealth Group's Optum is seeking an Inpatient Care Management Medical Director to oversee hospital-level reviews for medical necessity across the continuum of care. You will collaborate with nurses and staff to optimize inpatient utilization for local, regional, or national markets and engage in telephonic outreach to treating providers.

The role requires an active medical license (MD/DO), ABMS/AOA board certification, and 3+ years of practice post-residency.
