Job Location Wellness Clinic Youth Center (Cleveland, OH) Job Position Nurse Practitioner (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor) Job Background The student wellness center is located on the campus of a no‑cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The clinic operates between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Immediate start. Job Description Hands‑on primary and acute care for student patients ages 16‑24 years, including: School physical exams. Minor sports injuries. Hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD. UTIs, URIs, STDs. Sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits. Collaborate with mid‑levels, center’s medical staff, wellness staff, and substance abuse specialists as necessary. Provide low‑volume patient care on a part‑time schedule. Role Description Ongoing contract role for a Locum Nurse Practitioner with The Locums Company, LLC at the Cleveland Job Corps Center. The practitioner will work on‑site to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients. Compensation is excellent and professional liability insurance is provided. Job Requirements Active and unrestricted state medical license in Ohio. Experience providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work 7 hours per week (flexible). Prior locum physician experience is a plus. Valid Federal DEA license. Job Types and Compensation Part‑time, Contract. $70.00 per hour. Expected hours: 7 hours per week (day shift, no weekends).
