Worship Leader - Southwest Campus

Job Description

To partner with our Worship Team and the SW Campus team in carrying out the vision of developing a vibrant worship culture that supports the Vision/Mission and Strategies of SCC. As well as investing in/shepherding volunteers to lead and share that same Vision/Mission.

What You Will Be Doing:

Planning services with the Worship Team
Shepherd, lead, disciple, train and equip volunteers
Scheduling volunteers
Running rehearsals
Learning new songs
Come alongside the Southwest Campus team/church family by assisting by creating worship environment for all ages
Pastoral roles – weddings, funerals, etc.

What We Are Looking For:

Pastor / Shepherd at Heart
Strong communication skills
Musical skills and lead vocal ability
Proven volunteer recruitment and training skills
Desire to work with people
Strong work ethic and is a team player/collaborator

Our Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from a Bible College is preferred but not required
Experience in leading worship (minimum of 3 years)
Ordained Minister of the Gospel
Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one

Agree with the Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways. -we-are#mantras
