Veterans shape the future of energy As a Supervisory Contract Specialist, you will: Manage a team of procurement specialists by assigning work, establishing performance metrics, evaluating employee performance, and resolving team operational issues. Provide expert acquisition advice to senior executives on long-term procurement strategies, complex acquisition issues, policy implications, and risk mitigation. Review, negotiate, and execute high-value, complex contract types and incentive structures (e.g., cost-reimbursement, fixed-price incentive, or multi-year contracts). Create organization-wide acquisition policies and ensure all buying activities follow federal regulations. Oversee contract administration, approve payments based on performance reviews, and lead procurement audits. Serve as the primary liaison and representative for interagency groups, committees, and external stakeholders on high-visibility procurement matters. #J-18808-Ljbffr Department of Energy Headquarters
