MLS Microbiology Supervisor Salary $65K to $70K. Location: Las Cruces, NM, 88011. Must-Haves Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science MLS or equivalent. ASCP certification preferred. 2 years working in an acute care facility. 2 years of Microbiology experience required. Nice-to-Haves Experience with Joint Commission requirements Strong communication skills Experience with Quality assurance procedures. Job Description The Medical Lab Scientist (Med Tech) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This position is a working Supervisor position for Microbiology. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the department. Responsible for regulatory compliance. Minimum Education: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Minimum Experience: 2 years working in acute care facility. Licensure: MLS or equivalent. ASCP Certified preferred.
