About the Role:
Join D Bakery LLC as a Pastry Lead and take your culinary skills to the next level! We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to lead our pastry team in crafting delightful desserts that bring joy to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pastry production and ensure high-quality standards.
- Create innovative dessert recipes that align with our brand vision.
- Train and mentor pastry staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in special event planning and execution of pastry displays.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for dessert innovation.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
