Director of Asset Management

Our client, a mission-driven affordable housing nonprofit, is seeking a Director of Asset Management to lead the financial, operational, and physical performance of its real estate portfolio. Responsibilities: Set long-term portfolio strategy, including hold/sell/refinance and mission-alignment decisions Lead recapitalization and refinancing strategy (RAD, HPD PLP, Tax Credit Re-syndication, FHA/Fannie/Freddie) Present portfolio performance and risk to Senior Leadership and the Board Serve as primary liaison to lenders, syndicators, and regulators (HUD, HPD, HDC) Partner with Development and Sustainability teams on stabilization, YR 15 LIHTC exits, and green initiatives Set portfolio-wide KPIs, NOI targets, and capital improvement priorities Requirements: 8-10+ years in real estate asset management/development, including 3-5+ years in a senior leadership role Deep expertise in LIHTC (9%/4%), HUD programs, and complex multifamily finance Advanced financial modeling skills; strong Yardi/BI proficiency Bachelor's required; MBA/MRED or equivalent executive experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Mission Staffing
