User Experience Designer

To enhance the usability of the Databricks platform's governance and AI capabilities, the remote User Experience Designer will design user-friendly and scalable experiences, translating complex functionalities into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and specifications while collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers. Key responsibilities Design user-friendly experiences for governance portals, quality scorecards, and self-service AI/BI tools Translate prototype AI use cases into design artifacts such as user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Partner with stakeholders and engineers to validate designs, ensuring feasibility and alignment with technical constraints Required qualifications 5+ years in UX/product design with a portfolio showcasing enterprise or analytics product experiences Proven ability to simplify complex technical domains for business users Strong command of UX methods including user research, journey mapping, and usability testing Experience producing developer-ready design specifications and collaborating with engineering teams Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma for creating flows, wireframes, and prototypes
