Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ED RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver essential medical support to patients across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and prioritize care in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document care activities and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Must hold a valid Compact RN license prior to submission.
