CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant, Main Operating Room, Night ShiftJoin a dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Main Operating Room, working full-time night shifts from Monday through Thursday. This role involves providing essential patient care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.Key responsibilities include:Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to the unit and equipment.Respond promptly to patient needs, offering direct assistance or notifying appropriate personnel.Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.Manage and maintain stocked and clean patient care areas.Participate in cost containment efforts and accurate patient service charging.Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient patient throughput.Education and certifications required:High school diploma or equivalent.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Experience and skills:No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to read and understand English.Flexibility in work tasks and schedules.Basic computer proficiency.Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.Physical requirements:Ability to work variable shifts, including nights.Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient turning.Visual and auditory acuity to observe patient conditions.Exposure to blood and body fluids with adherence to safety protocols.This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment within a regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States.
