Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a high-acuity 35-bed unit requiring at least 1 year of travel nursing experience and NIH certification.

Job Details

• Work in a high acuity, fast paced 35-bed telemetry unit,
• Care for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU with cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses,
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15,
• 36-48 hour work week acceptable,
• Every other weekend requirement,
• Holiday requirements per unit need,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand,
• Current BLS certification (AHA),
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required,
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required,
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required,
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required,
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address,

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to acutely ill cardiac and pulmonary patients,
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates within the designated distance,
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility,
• Travelers should discuss potential extension with their manager 45 days prior to end date,
• COVID vaccination is not required
