Radiology - CT Tech

CT Scan Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 4x12 shifts, Night, 7 PM to 7 AM, with call required (after hours and weekend rotation).

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). This position requires providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and various imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Ensure knowledge of processing CT systems and surgical sterile procedures.
• Effectively manage studies with and without contrast media.
• Demonstrate understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Conduct daily equipment quality control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• New Mexico license and CT New Mexico temp, or permanent license required.
