Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating RoomSeeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.Assist surgeons and other healthcare team members in the Operating Room.Monitor and assess patients' conditions throughout the surgical process.Maintain a sterile environment and comply with infection control policies.Document patient information and care rendered accurately in electronic health records.Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed.Holiday RequirementCandidates will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. For contracts covering only 2 of these holidays, candidates will work 1 of the 2 holidays.Schedule RequirementsThe nursing schedule includes 5 shifts of 8 hours each, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates must be available for weekends and holidays as required.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.Current BLS certification.Experience with EPIC electronic health records is required.Ability to respond to call requirements with a 30-minute response time.Additional InformationCandidates may have opportunities to care for patients with COVID-19.This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.Floating and weekend shifts may be required as needed.If you meet the qualifications and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.
