Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a well-established and profitable organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.



Location:
San Leandro, CA. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, 4 days/week in the office.



Job Description:
This role will partner closely with business leaders to drive performance through data-driven insights, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with broad visibility across the business.



Responsibilities:

• Analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning models to support business decision-making
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and performance trends
• Partner with business units to plan resource allocation and manage financial performance
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes
• Support pricing analysis, including cost and volume modeling
• Prepare executive-level reporting materials, including presentations for leadership and key stakeholders
• Evaluate capital investment opportunities and develop business cases for strategic initiatives
• Identify and drive cost improvement initiatives across products and operations
• Support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
• Ability to interpret financial statements and business performance metrics
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work cross?functionally and lead initiatives in a collaborative environment
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast?paced, evolving environment
