About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (11:00 - 23:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of Emergency Department experience - Charting system experience Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Every third weekend is required for this position. No call duties are expected for this role. Floating to other units may be required as needed, within the scope of practice. Medical and religious exemptions will be accepted for the COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine requirements. Experience with the Meditech electronic medical record system is preferred; training will be provided. Modules may be required during orientation, with specific guidelines for billing. Travelers are welcome, and both local and first-time travelers will be considered. All applicants should be prepared to show their current Nursys Report for verification.
