Lead Financial Reporting Accountant | Hybrid

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a large consumer services firm looking for a Lead Financial Reporting Accountant. This position is open due to promotion and will focus on consolidations, financial analysis, GL accounting, and be a liaison between the Manager and Staff/Seniors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead consolidation activities across multiple entities and business units
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial results and provide management with actionable insights regarding business performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and key performance indicator reporting
• Partner with operational and finance leadership to evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist with external audit requests and preparation of supporting schedules
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy
• Support intercompany accounting activities and reconciliations
• Utilize financial systems and advanced Excel tools to streamline reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
• Foundation in large public accounting/audit preferred
• Strong background in consolidations, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• CPA designation preferred but not required
