Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information\n Location: Denver, CO \n Unit Type: Telemetry/Med Surg with PCU \n Number of Beds: 32 \n Staffing: 7-12 staff members including 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 sitter on day shift. \n Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1 \n Equipment: GE Telemetry system \n EMR: Meditech Responsibilities\n \n Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry care. \n Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. \n Perform typical procedures, including IV and foley catheter insertions, and chest tube removal. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. \n Document all patient care and procedures accurately in EMR. \n Qualifications\n Required: \n \n Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience. \n Current BLS and ACLS certifications. \n \n Preferred: \n \n Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients. \n Familiarity with Meditech EMR system. \n Ideal Candidate\n The ideal candidate is an outgoing, team-oriented professional who is proactive and willing to take the initiative in providing excellent patient care.
